Discuss with students the possible combinations when
tossing two coins (there are four possible outcomes: HH, TT, HT, TH). ·
Download the file ‘Coin Tossing’. Students use this file to complete 50 tosses of 2 coins. A pie chart will display their results. The hare is ‘blue’ (TT/HH); the tortoise is ‘red’ (HT/TH). Move forward on the board game accordingly
(2 places for a win, 1 place for a tie).
Repeat this exercise one more time and move counter on the board game
accordingly. |
